Montenegro Airlines Aims for Continued Success through Strategic Approach to EU ETS

As an airline committed to opening new routes and increasing the number of passengers served, management at Montenegro Airlines understood that the challenges of the EU ETS needed to be met with a strategic and expert approach. GALLEHR+PARTNER were appointed to support them in putting together their monitoring plans.

“Following attendance at a conference held by GALLEHR+PARTNER, we decided that this
company was ideally positioned to support us; their experience and expertise being exactly that which we needed,” explained Miodrag Stanic, Operations Center Manager at Montenegro Airlines. “Our future plans include further modernization, the enlargement of our fleet and increasing the number of passengers we serve, therefore, we needed to ensure that our approach to the EU ETS matched our strategic aims and enabled our continued success.”

Montenegro Airlines was founded in 1994 and is licensed to operate scheduled domestic and international passenger transport and charter operations, as well as for carriage of cargo and mail. Over the years, Montenegro Airlines has developed into a modern institution, operating in accordance with modern global standards. Today, Montenegro Airlines operates scheduled flights to London, Zurich, Frankfurt, Rome, Paris, Ljubljana, Vienna, Belgrade, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Niš, Skopje and Priština, successfully establishing an air bridge between Montenegro and Europe.

The Montenegro Airlines fleet consists of 7 modern aircraft - five Fokker 100s and two Embraer 195s.
